emilyhkx 's review for:
The Queen of Nothing
by Holly Black
first five star rating of the year and SO deserved.
the plot was so well done, the character arcs were fulfilled so nicely. a taryn redemption era was not on my cards for this book, everyone knows how i felt about her in the last one, but i’ll admit, the redemption arc was done incredibly well.
the subtle introduction of suren from the ‘the stolen heir’ duology was also done wonderfully.
i don’t actually know how to phrase the full extent of how much i loved this book. i hope i can tell you there are many annotations and that will be enough until i can find the words to put it together.
jude and cardan, my loves, i will adore them forever. i fear they may be the new blueprint for enemies to lovers everywhere.
