If you want a romance book that wraps you up in Italian culture: the food, the language, the customs, the people, the scenery etc and leaves you all warm and fuzzy at the end, get this book. Trigger warning though, as the character's history is rife with domestic violence and may hit a little close to home for some.
It was lovely to read a book from an author living in my home state, especially given I'm half-Italian and live an hour from Brisbane, Australia (which is also featured in this book). Loved it and couldn't put it down once I got to the halfway mark.
