The Razor's Edge
by W. Somerset Maugham
I give this book four stars for its longevity and the writing. The prose is easy, beautiful and there are some truly memorable passages. But I wasn't moved by the story, by the characters or by the meandering, third-party way that much of the action comes to pass. It feels like a classic: Something meaty and considerable that you read because someone made you.
