Recommended read from a book club that I would not have likely come across otherwise. From that perspective, I’m glad I picked it up and did enjoy the book. I enjoyed reading the stories of these women and was glad that the author showcased the diversity within our community. There truly is no one size fits all and that came through in the book. Great to see a conversation around the intersectionality of feminism with racism, gender and sexual preference which is often missed in our real world. There were 12 or so individual stories and at times it was hard to remember the intersection between them, but I got there in the end… I think.
