As usual Darcy Coates doesn’t disappoint. I don’t find this series scary but it is spooky and fun.  It’s an easy quick read. Even though I’ve been reading the series in order, I think it could easily be a standalone if you didn’t want to do the whole series. Coates does a good job at quick recapping when it’s needed. However, I would recommend reading the whole series. I’ve become quite fond of Keira, Mason, Zoe, and even Harry!
