Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"My will and my desire were turned by love, the love that moves the sun and the other stars...You came into my life and suddenly I had one truth to hold on to- that I loved you, and you loved me."
------------------------------------------------
The story for our favorite Shadowhunters continues after the Battle of Alicante. While we think the worst is past them, another evil force is stirring. I enjoyed this book. As usual, Cassandra Clare has us on the edge of our seat with the fantasy/suspense element of the plot. The romance/love story aspects I have thoughts on...
I liked seeing Alec and Magnes' story develop, as well as, Luke and Jocelyn. However, I was a little frustrated with other pairings, as well as, the lack of communication between characters. It wasn't miscommunication...it was just no communication. I am extremely sad that we have had more forces working against Clary and Jace. I just wanted them to have a happy ending. At the end of book 3 I thought they were going to get it, but now I am not so sure. Honestly, I'm worried for them moving forward. Also, SIMON! What is going on dude. Two? Two???? Come on man. IYKYK. I need him to make a decision and be happy. Also, he was dealing with so many other things and trying to do so mostly alone... I am worried for him as well.
I am not sure where this story will go moving foward, but I will find out because I HAVE TO KEEP READING.
