To Kill a Shadow
by Katherine Quinn
New Adult | Fantasy
This book was just alright. It reminded me of many books that came before it and they used tropes from each to create a world where shadows lurk. I really enjoyed the first half of the book then struggled to get through the rest. I did not care for the ending. The vibes throughout the book were the star as well as the consistency of the characters actions. Because of the threat of the mist, the tension was also okay. However due to the plot, growth, and ending I couldn't rate this more than 2 stars. The main female character was very annoying and the male character had the worlds largest "lust" goggles on just because she's the only girl he's been around in X years.
