I loved this. Robbie Couch knows how to write lovely and relatable characters. As an artist I felt the impact of Blane being called unserious and it made me tear up, not the last time it happened because of this book.
I absolutely loved his relationship with his aunt, one of my favorite parts of the book.

As I have already read Thy Sky Blues I wasn't expecting or hoping at first for the book to have much romance, but now, while I feel the chemistry between Blaine and Danny is great, I wish it was more present as the topic of school elections was not as interesting to me. Maybe because elections like these aren't a thing where I come from, but I  still think Couch did a great job with them, keeping me entertained the whole time. To be honest the results and drama around the election were predictable, but it didn't take away from the great experience I had with the book. I still absolutely enjoyed it.

Either way, I loved the comedic timing of the janitor lady at the end when Blaine was talking with his ex. Just brilliant. It made me laugh out loud and I still chuckle about it. Just great.

Can't wait for his next book to come out, Robbie Couch is definitely becoming one of my favorite writers.
