Clive Cussler's The Devil's Sea by Dirk Cussler
5.0
This was Dirk Pitts first outing following Clive Cussler‘s passing. Written by his son (Dirk Cussler) who has been a collaborator for the last several of the Dirk Pitt series, this novel follows the same formula that’s been successful for the last 25 Dirk Pitt novels. My only gripe about most of the series as a whole is how many coincidences the plot relies on but that doesn’t detract from my enjoyment of the book itself. Since Clive‘s passing I’ve been nervous about what the future of the series would look like even though I know Dirk would carry on his fathers legacy well. My opinion is that it’s in good hands. And I’m not gonna lie, when Mr. Clive and his dachshund showed up and helped save the sinking NUMA ship there were some tears.
