emotional hopeful inspiring medium-paced

I loved this reimagining of Anne of Green Gables.  It had a great coming-of-age story that was heartwarming.  I loved Ana and her relationship with Emmett, Abbie, and the rest of the workers on the farm, they became her found family.  I loved how much Ana grew as a character and overcame her difficult past.  Ana of California is a great story with a lot of heart.
