Edit: Changing from a 3.5 to a 3 as I liked the last book more than this one and that book feels more like a 3.5.
The book fell into some of the YA tropes that I dont love BUT it quickly got itself out of there in a way that can be avoided moving forward. I think the concept is pretty cool and I did enjoy it as a way to pass the time as I did chores I will admit that I wasn't as invested as I would have liked to be. The characters where cool and the general plot was fun but I wasn't dying to continue anytime I had to put the book down.
