Fireborne by Rosaria Munda
5.0
Ok. It's decided. This is officially my favorite book of 2021 (i read it 2 years late :|), and the year has just started! At first, I had doubts about the book, but after reading it... Let's just say they all but dissapeared.
The main thing I love is how this books deals with the traditional YA tropes, such as friends to lovers, love triangle(square?), revolution. Munda gives each of these a twist so that they don't seem stagnant or stereotypical. One example would be that in most YA books, our characters are trying to begin a revolution. In this book, we are looking at its aftermath. I also enjoyed how everyone in their love triangle/square/line? was aware of what was happening. There was no hate or jealousy, and all the characters were accepting of their circumstances.
