Into the Still Blue
by Veronica Rossi
“We all have the potential to do terrible things. But we also have the potential to overcome our mistakes.”
I almost never pick the second book in a series as my favourite, but in this series it was. I absolutely loved the excitement and drive to survive that was noticeable in the second one - and then with this final book, it felt a bit like a repeat. A repeat, as well as a predictable tale. I knew from the start of the book where it was going to go and even though there were some losses in this book, the deaths were quite obvious from the start. I feel quite underwhelmed by this conclusion; however it still remains a highly recommended series for me. Character driven and plot wise very well done, as well as intriguing writing that will keep you engaged.
