Secret of the Forbidden City by James Patterson

4.0

So basically, when i was 9 or 10 my dad saw the cover of this book, read the back, flipped through the pages, and decided (probably in the middle of the Costco book section) that his favorite (and only) book-crazed daughter could use some color in her library. I read it all the way through, because what else did i have to do and what other books did i have to read? I had never read the previous two, never bothered even after i finished this one, and i highly dislike most of James Patterson's work (dont crucify me it's my opinion), but i remember enjoying this. I remember how my dad smiled when he gave it to his literature-depraved-ragamuffin, and so even without remembering the plot, i cant give it lower than 4 stars.
