My Darling Dreadful Thing
by Johanna van Veen
dark
mysterious
slow-paced
Writing style was great
Environment/mood SET
while I was interested in Ruth and Roos, I felt the romance angle between Roos and Agnes didn’t make much sense. At about 65% it becomes a little more apparent why Agnes is into Roos but I think the way it’s written for romance aspect left more to the imagination than I’d like when the story focuses on romance.
The ending felt a little cheap as well
