I had such a hard time rating this book. As I feel that some of my love for the characters is not based on Daemi’s characters but on the beautiful story brought to life by Mile and Apo. That being said the characters are so beyond different, from the main to Korn, Vegas, Chay, and Khun. I love a jealous lover so I’m not even mad about Kinn being a little bit of a red flag. That being said I knew going in from the series they there was a r**e seen. But wow, the book just made it so much worse. Less or lack of communication and Kinn being a dick to straight up he is telling you no and that it hurts. So all in all I have such conflicting emotions for this novel and my rating.

Beyond that the writing style is just….not great? It feels more tell the reader what’s happening instead of experiencing it with the characters. It feels very mafia fanfiction then an actual published book. And that being said I’ve read some great fanfic (even KinnPorsche fanfic) that blow this writing style and this current story out of the water. so end thoughts: I’m sticking around for the characters I love based on Mike and Apo and the fanfic I’ve read. Without it I would have given up on this book just a few chapters in.
