Three Fates by Nora Roberts
3.0
I loved the premise of the book. The weaving of ancient mythology with a famous historical event with contemporary time was great. I really enjoyed the hint of the paranormal too though frankly I wanted more. Did the Fates really have some kind of power and were they influencing what happened? It's never entirely clear. I also enjoyed some of the couples but I really didn't like Mak. He was a serious ass who lied to Tia and then really didn't do anything to apologize. He was bossy and judgey and ugh. Tia was amazing and deserved a much better guy. This is clearly an earlier Roberts, because she handles similar themes in future books with more finesse and better world and story building (plus less casual misogyny). Still it was a fun read.
