Admittedly, I only discovered this author because this series was free on Audible Plus and Kindle Unlimited. King of Wall Street is about a single dad, Max King, who happens to be a successful, ruthless businessman in Manhattan. He lives between NYC and CT where his 14-year old daughter lives with him.
Harper Jayne is a junior researcher at his firm who infuriates him to no end but he is highly attracted to her, and well, you can see where this is going.
An entertaining story but not original as it includes many romance tropes. Even though I didn't love the book, I did like that it introduced you to the rest of the characters that will, in turn, have their own book in the series.
