AHHHHHHH SCREAMING, CRYING, [perfect storm - sorry I had to].

Kat Singleton does it again. I loved this. I LOVED THIS BOOK AND THESE CHARACTERS SO MUCH.
Okay enough screaming, I should say actual words that mean something here.
The first ones are this: GO READ THIS DAMN BOOK.

Archer and Winnie effortlessly claimed the top spots on my list of favorite book couples and book boyfriends, bumping Beck & Margo. A feat I didn't think possible!

The development of their relationship from rivals, to cohabitating tentative friends, to lovers was perfection. Archer, initially a grump, revealed a tender side solely reserved for Winnie. She, in turn, effortlessly held him captive with her sweetness, unknowingly wrapping him around her finger.

Archer, is a ruthless businessman wielding power, did not trust anyone but Winnie to expose his softer side. Meanwhile, Winnie, striving to be the ideal daughter despite her father's mistreatment, embarked on a journey to discover her voice and assert herself.

What set Archer apart for me, compared to Beck, was his commitment to earning Winnie's trust. Instead of succumbing to deceit and lies, Archer remained true to his word, actively seeking to earn Winnie's trust and making choices that would only strengthen their relationship, rath than test it. His genuine admiration and respect for Winnie shone through, and I appreciated how open he was to adapting to her lifestyle, even within the confines of their fake relationship. The friendship that blossomed before it turned romantic added a heartwarming layer to their connection.

Cameos from Beck & Margo and Camden & Pippa was a fun and heartwarming bonus, solidifying this friend group as a new favorite of mine.

Winnie is the kind of friend you'd love to have, and Archer is the epitome of swoon-worthy. There's nothing about this book that didn't captivate me. I'm excited to get my hands on a physical copy to annotate and savor every moment of rereading this book.

Thank you so much to Kat Singleton & Valentine PR for the eARC.
