I skimmed the second half of this book. The protagonist is loathsome. She’s a selfish cheater and I don’t know why they keep mentioning that she’s fat! The book also goes out of its way to make fun of her parents who seem to be well intentioned Christians. I am a Christian myself and I found the constant picking at them annoying and unnecessary. It was as if the author had an axe to grind. On top of it the story treats extramarital affairs like they’re normal and just what people do. Needless to say I will not be reading any more by this author. The only saving grace for the story was that the setting was cool. It earned the one star.
