An interesting play on biological manipulation to create super soldiers. 4 boys live in the basement of an obscure and remote farmhouse. Anna and her father test and monitor their progress. Anna thinks it's all harmless volunteerism, but soon realizes that there is much more going on behind the scenes, and none of it is good. Overall, an engaging and exciting story with multiple complex character relationships. I'm going out to get the next one tomorrow!
