I found this book in a used book store and knew it would be perfect for the first week back to school. I read this many times as a teen, so this was the perfect comfort read for a tiring week. My star rating definitely reflects a boost from my sense of nostalgia while reading it. But if you want a great Robin Hood, Maid Marion, and supporting outlaws story I can’t imagine reading a better book. I love how the story brings the characters to life and makes a myth feel like real life.
