4.3/5 - wooooah. i really like how this was written! a story that’s actually a podcast, that’s actually a documentary! i feel like that couldve been messed up easily but lisa jewell did a really nice job. contrary to other reviews i really liked the ending cause i was headed to that conclusion myself! [spoilers ahead.]

not everyone can be lying! i knew josie was a nut, but i knew there was…something. her husband regardless of whatever, is still a pedophile! i dont care how he is now. and i really dont like how characters tried humanizing him just bc josie is a bad person. tow things can be true and once. josie is a psychopath, and her husband is pedophile. i feel like maybe that was the author’s intention though? making josie so terrible and creepy that it makes us sympathize with the horrible people in her life. a lot to think about!!
