Assassin's Apprentice Volume 1 by Jody Houser, Robin Hobb

I was really excited to read this adaptation I enjoyed this more the more I read of it, I thought the final chapter of this volume with Molly was especially well done, but overall I'm not sure a graphic novel format of this story works for me. It definitely made me realise how much the writing itself has made me love the original series.

I feel a bit like I need to restore how I originally envisioned some of the characters in my head now (especially Burrich! He looks so much older than I imagined him,
which would make the ending to the original trilogy especially awkward
)
