It is DIABOLICAL how many similes the author wrote in this book. It seemed like every person, place, or thing was described that way. Every dress doesn't need to "whisper against her cobweb pale skin". A person eyes don't need to be "molten gold like a setting sun on a Tuesday in fall on the cusp of winter". Jesus Christ, I cannot finish this.
