I really truly loved this book and all that it did. I can’t wait to read this authors other works since I’ve wanted to for a while but got to this one first.
I liked Charlie’s character and although he was sometimes annoying I understand. Because of the paranoia of being caught, rooming with the person who broke your heart, keeping high grades, and STRIP that’s a lot to deal with for one person. I related to him in those senses in more ways than one, he also had a lot of really funny one liners that cracked me up while reading.
Jasper was fun. He was annoying to but that’s most likely because we only saw Charlie’s thoughts about him but then we started to get to know him truly for who he is and he’s actually quite adorable. Such a poet a nepo baby but that’s okay we can forgive him for those things. I loved his banter with Charlie it was so good.
The background characters were amazing as well and really stood out as their own people. We saw each one’s story and got to know them through the novel and it was quite nice. The romance between Charlie and Jasper was somewhat slow building but sooo worth it in the end. Especially when they kiss, that was magical.
