so many emotions with this book... i love the plot, i love the relationship, the odd friendship between luca and her therapist, the letters, luca’s strength and her fight and the way everything in that story made sense. i LOVE books which start with letters. i love to read about pen pals meeting

i wasn’t going to stick to it at first because something the MC wrote in a letter towards the beginning was pretty disgusting to me : calling women easy because they sleep with him, implying they weren’t respecting themselves and that he after all was simply a man accepting them all and a few other bullshit sentences -it took a whole page- i didn’t want to read about such a man. in the grand scheme of things it’s only ONE page and one small event, it still remains pretty awful to me that two women came up with this. a woman should dispose of her body the way she chooses and it IS important to point out and not perpetuate this line of thinking.
