I feel like normally Sawyer Bennett writes such a strong female character, Olivia and Sutton both were, and I enjoyed them greatly. I felt that Kate had her moments, she was a really cute and funny character, and cared greatly for the kids, but when it came to Zack she was an utter doormat. For the things he said to her, she'd forgive him far too quickly. Some of the things were very harsh, and it was all "okey-dokey artichokey" Another reviewer said he needed to grovel more, and I agree with that. We had grand gestures in the first two books, but not in this one. And the way Zack treated Kate, that gesture was needed. Totally needed. Because there was no gesture, Zack fell flat for me.
