Did this book rope me in from the prologue? Yes.
Did this book capture my heart with the first hint of Leisa's sass? Yes.
Did the magic, suspense, romance, intrigue, and everything else keep me reading until past midnight because I needed to finish this book? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Wow! The writing was phenomenal. The way the author wove back stories into each character and dripped more info throughout the story so you're on the edge of your seat. Fantastic. Truly fantastic.
I love Leisa and learning about her as she does these awesome spy stunts. So cool. I can't wait to read what happens next.
Learning about our faceless mage. Heartbreaking but in the best way. Sooooo invested in his future.
Alright, I'm gonna go binge read the rest of this series now because I've got to know what happens! Who needs sleep?! Not me when I have this series to read!
