I ate this book right on up in about 24 hours! Author is coming to his book signing for book release today and I wanted to read something he’d already written and boy I was NOT disappointed!
The layers of relatable family and generational trauma packed into this still uplifting story was so powerful! I throughly appreciated how incredibly inspiring and resilient he was while still acknowledging what was happening was wrong !!!
His relationship with grandma was so touching especially with all the other chaos going on (some of his family hell everybody but the aunt need they butt whooped)
