"The Love Hypothesis" by Ali Hazelwood is an absolutely delightful romantic comedy that tells the story of a brilliant but socially awkward physics professor named Olive Smith, who finds herself falling for an unlikely partner in the form of her charming and charismatic lab assistant, Adam.
Although this book did have the brooding, but hot main guy and hot mess cliche, and the twists were predictable, this book is a solid 5. It is really well-written, flowed smoothly, and there wasn't a boring part in any chapter of the book. You come to relate with the MC and her friends. I also really liked that it was set against the STEM background. I did feel like most of the problems could have been avoided with some communication, but then most romance books would be some chapters short (also, in real life, a lot of people don't communicate as well as they should, either.)
