I wanted to love this story, not to say. I didn’t enjoy it but I didn’t *love* it. There were so many great tropes and characters making this a book full of great ideas. I found the story really confusing, along with the writing.

At moments I struggled to understand what was going on, where we were, who was talking. I think that sometimes it focused on stuff too much, writing a lot for things that had little interest.

One thing I loved though is the Jewish representation, I loved the community, Rabbi Ruth and how it was represented!

Overall, it wasn’t my cup of tea but definitely try it out! Because for me it was the writing but maybe you’d like it!
