Young Avengers has made me fall in love with comics! The design, the characters, & the story is just so much fun. It goes beyond your traditional comic strip layout, and I really loved how creative some of the panels were! I’ll be honest, I did get a bit lost in the ending there, but overall it’s just a really fun read (and I’m very much here for the characters). I did jump from reading the first YA run to this latest one, so I am probably going to go back and read the older ones which could help with some details. I can't believe this is almost 10 yrs old, it def feels like it could’ve been just published!
Also, I love how the acronym is YA and the genre/ age group is also Young Adult (YA). I think YA continues to be my favourite genre (also one reason I loved the new spiderman movies so much), and so I’m so glad I read Young Avengers. It also seems like they are setting it up to potentially have the YA together in the MCU, but there’s just smt about the comics I think that’s so great & idk if it will be replicated the same on screen.
