Wow, this was a powerful read. It moved me, it educated me, it made me cry. White people we need to read more books like this! 

I related to Ava and Josh, the white students. Their actions and questions were familiar to me. I was so glad to learn more- to see the mistakes and the failing. What was done wrong and what could be done right. Especially learning to LISTEN. Stop your defenses and pause. God this was such a good read.

My only critique is that the pacing was a little slow at times.
