Obsessively Yours is the second book in the Fae Kings of Eden series but can be read as a standalone. Jamie writes really fun and unhinged fantasy romance stories and I find myself continuously drawn to the wildness of them. Although this book was more of a friends to lovers (which is not a trope I’m usually drawn to), I was entertained by the continuous drama and conflict where Violet’s sister was the one mated to her love interest, Roman. I LIVE for that kind of drama in my romance books and loved the conflict that it was bringing to the story, especially a story that is very insta-lusty.

That being said, this wasn’t my favorite because it felt very dragged out and long. We grow up with these characters from around 15 years old and the story is pretty slow-paced with a lot of unnecessary fluff. I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was a similar length as the first book, Viciously Yours.

Thanks to the author for sending me an ARC for review!
