The Husky & His White Cat Shizun: Erha He Ta De Bai Mao Shizun (Novel) Vol. 5
by Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou
I am unwell. The ending was so powerfully written I felt so gut wrenchingly devastatingly emotional. IN A GOOD WAY. Meatbun absolutely smashes it every time with the way they depict feeling and raw emotion. You feel the character's pain. You feel their longing. You feel their love.
The plot was a bit slower in this one with regards to the backstory but still very interesting and relevant, the threads are being laid down for what's to come.
This volume very much felt like it belong to Mo Ran and Chu Wanning as a pair, and I was swept up once again by their internal monologue, their doubts, their desire, their soul consuming connection I didn't even realise that I finished the book so quickly. You're screaming at it like JUST KISS. But at the same time you want to bathe in this slow burn and soak in the time it had taken for them to acknowledge any of their feelings. Watching that love unfold. I've never felt it so keenly through a page before.
READ IT AND WEEP AND BRING TISSUES
