Messiness, black folks and love! Who could ask for anything more??!??

Meet three friends, Sasha, Dallas and Candace, who are having different kinds of relationship issues.

Dallas’ no good baby daddy left her and their kids after 15 years to get engaged to his mistress, but feels he can come in and out of her life as he pleases. When Dallas meets a new man, Trenton (who gives me Kofi Siriboe vibes), does she have the strength to fight off her trifling baby daddy in order to heal and find love with Trenton?

Candace has what looks like an amazing man with a good head on his shoulders and living like a grown man, but after 2 years he still hasn’t popped the question. When she starts to see her best friends brother Diego in different light, she gives him a chance and maybe her heart. But will Diego’s street life past cause more harm to their future?

Sasha’s life seems great with her fiancé Hunter but the only thing missing is a baby. They have been together for 6 years, engaged for 2, and have been trying to get pregnant for awhile. When you find out what’s really stopping them, you won’t believe it. My face was stuck like this 😮

I couldn’t put this one down at all. One sitting and the book was read and had me wanting to know what’s next for these three friends. It read like how I would talk to my friends and I felt so invested in the story. Talking to the author, I’m excited about what’s next! Beautiful work Danielle Marcus!!
