Falling Stars by Sadie Grubor

I tried, I really did! When goodreads recommends a book to read, you think that after reading a lot of books, they would know what kind of books you are interested in. Sadly, this was not the case. The beginning started out great, I thought 'Hey! this is going to turn out to be a great book to read," however, this was not the case for the rest of the book. Great storyline, but oh my goodness, did it ever drag on. It was like sitting in on a 6 hour lecture debating on whether or not to leave and when you finally decide to, there is no point because you already sat down for the first four hours, what's the harm in the last two. May be in those two hours, the lecture would redeem itself, and once it's over, your mad you didn't leave while you had the chance. That analogy is parallel to my feelings on reading this book. I got so bored towards the end I just wanted to put it down. The protagonist, Chris, goes through a terrible trauma and needs Mia to stay over during (spoiler) the night, I thought it was weird, since they were (spoiler) at each others throats most of the time. Chris reminds me of a hormonal 14 year old girl with a bad attitude and Mia reminded me of ... I really don't know but she was winey and annoying as all hell. I'd only recommend this book if you like books that continue long over they actually should. That book could have been 200 pages and a great read. What ever happened to 'keep it simple stupid'? no offence ...
