I started reading this book because of the student/teacher trope. I was sad to find out that this was not done tastefully (in my opinion). I know there is a fine line for this type of trope and everyone has their own opinions about dating ages, but I found it disturbing that she was 18 and in high school. The book made the class sound like it was a college class but kept referencing her being in high school. I also thought she was very immature, which can be expected from an 18-year old, but in this story where the plot is she is dating a teacher, I found it disturbing. Overall, I had to stop reading the book because their relationship just made me uncomfortable and was very toxic. Feel free to read it, but it just was not for me.
