And that’s the end of the Knockemout series! Lucy Score has the power to make you laugh, smile, and cry with her books and Things We Left Behind did just that. I was super excited to read Lucian and Sloane’s story and now, I feel super sad to have finished it. I have loved every single character and their story through all three books and this final third book has just bought all their stories together in a happily ever after!
Lucian and Sloane’s chemistry was *chefs kiss* and the story held a nice level of depth and complexity between them. Their past is is one that was genuinely emotional and dealt with hardships but which made their bond even stronger. The epilogues got me, it’s sad to say goodbye to these characters but they will definitely be ones I love forever.
This is a perfect series for all the girls who love a small town romance featuring enemies to lovers and second chance romance.
