Leviathan Wakes
by James S.A. Corey
keep in mind: I've gone into this book having never read space opera, nor liking sci-fi much
so, this book was good. it sets up the scene for the series and we get a good understanding of their world.
holden and Miller are too separate sides of the spectrum, sometimes you're with holden, and sometimes you're with Miller.
there are many plot points in this book and you get to know the characters with how they handle them.
I'm not much for the romance, and I'm not much for the female characters. they could have been written much better.
I dont think I'll carry on with this series, but its definitely very good for a space opera
