This book was deeply unsettling. I can’t even describe the amount of dread I felt in my core while reading this book. I was genuinely scared!
At the beginning, I was furious with Eve for letting these strangers into her home. I don’t care if you’re a people pleaser, you don’t just let strangers walk around your house, especially when you’re there alone!
She made so many stupid decisions, but I really did feel for her. She had no idea what was going on and what was real (and quite frankly, neither do I).
This book was truly addictive and impossible to put down. The writing was fantastic and the plot was fast paced. The only reason I docked it a half star is because I wish I understood what happened! I don’t like getting to the end of a book and not having a clue what I just read. A cliffhanger is different, but I just was hoping for a little bit of explanation.
Super solid horror book! There’s a lot of cool clues hidden in media excerpts and even Morse code throughout the book as well. I still don’t understand it all, though.
If you think you have this book figured out, please DM me so I can hear your theories! I’m clueless!
