***Audiobook Review***

I originally read this book because I wanted to continue with the series and didn’t want to miss something for a future book. I was in this series for the Ford brothers. I didn’t leave a review and the only thing I can remember is it wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t remember anything else…at all.

Like book 1, this book focuses more on the relationship than any suspense/crime story although that part of the story is woven into Quick and Cayson’s relationship building.

I like Quick and Cayson together. I still don’t understand the drama around the ex. Why the flip? What made him change his mind and go crazy?

As with most of her books, you have to overlook the repeated name brand dropping. Also, in this book, for some reason, the repeated stereotypes and characterizations of gender bothered me. I didn’t mark them down since I was listening, but I took the note down for my review so something about it stood out.

The audio performance is as good as all the rest with Mr. Snow. He’s perfect for these characters and this series.
