Is there anything more romantic than New York in the winter? This book was the perfect cozy romance for a rainy weekend in LA. Plus a British main charachter named Iris (Just like The Holiday)
The Belotti family was a real gem and I loved hearing about the entire family. I do wish there were more flashbacks to Iris' mom in the book because I liked hearing about her that way. Although the book started a little slow & the prologue felt slightly out of place, I fell in love with these characters and the rest of the book breezed by.
You are actually required to eat gelato when reading this book - I don't make the rules. Overall I really enjoyed how warm & cozy this book felt. I felt as though Silver was getting back to her roots of One Day In December which is what made me fall in love with Silver's writing to begin with!
