my god this book was heavy. i flew through it (despite the fact that i probably should've taken my time with it) and found that it depicted some of the hardest themes to properly depict in fiction...and the author did it well. extremely hard to get through at some points (not because of pacing/plot, but because of the trigger warnings), but i found it to be worth it. 100% check the trigger warnings before reading, though!
