This book is the definition of a 3-stars book.
“Realm Breaker” is an ordinary, enjoyable YA fantasy book. Not exceptional, but not terrible either.
I didn’t connect particularly with any of the characters, I did not care a lot about the plot; if someone gifted me the second book of the trilogy I’d read it, but I surely won’t spend my money on it, sorry not sorry ://
I read it last month and I can barely remember it? Either my memory is terrible or it just didn’t really impress me.
• Erida & Taristan owned the book, though. Who would want to save the world, if they could destroy it? I wouldn’t. Erida was iconic!!! My favourite character.
• Taristan was interesting only when he was with her.
Honestly, I would be perfectly delighted if Victoria Aveyard announced that “Blade Breaker'' will focus only on Erida. YAAS QUEEN!
A 3 stars read. Enjoyable, fun, not the best book of the year, fundamentally a bit boring, but still worth my time (thanks to Erida).
