Ever since running out of Ryiria books, I've been craving a particular brand of old-fashioned, swashbuckling fantasy with thieves and a good bromance at its centre which doesn't go too far into either grimdark nor romance territory. This is so far the closest I've been able to find, though still not as good as I hoped - the story is quick and the twists and turns of the plot are fun to follow, but the characters weren't as instantly loveable as I'd like them to be. Will still go on with the second one - when only for Degan.
