Wonderstruck

More like 3 and a half stars than just plain 3. It was a good story, not a very big story like the size of the book might make you think it would be but it was simple and interesting. I didn't feel like there was a big enough climax to the story though. It seemed to be missing something; maybe a subplot. But it was good and the drawings of the people; the faces were drawn so perfectly you could see so much of the person's soul in it! Maybe I should have given this book another star because of the drawings. After all, the book is a bit of an art museum in itself because most of the pages are pictures.
I think the Invention of Hugo Cabret had a bit more of a story to it than this did, although this one was still good. (:
