Red at the Bone
by Jacqueline Woodson
It’s a good book club book. A quick read and lots of talk about. I do wish it were fleshed out a little more for some of the characters, I never felt much about a minority of characters. But still 3 stars deserved because the themes of inheritance, family, love, trauma, and motherhood are touched upon with care, if (too) succinctly.
