After how much I enjoyed the second book, this one was a bit of a let down. The story felt really weird and didn't always seem to make sense. The whole book was just one big revelation after another without much build up.
I wouldn't say it was a really bad book but it certainly was strange to read and hard to get through at certain points.

Like when Rose was bitten by a rat, I feel like it would have been better if we'd actually seen (or heard) it happen instead of someone waking Thomas up and telling him. The fight with the rats at the end was kind of interesting but got out of hand really fast.
